- A little further west along the Nambour Connection Road is Thrill Hill Fun Park, which is also open daily.
Moreton Sugar Mill
- Nambour is the home of the Moreton sugar mill that has historically been centre of the region's prosperity. The mill is important to the many sugar farmers that live throughout the Sunshine Coast, with cane trains creating an image of bygone eras as they run through the centre of town during the crushing season. Spectacular cane fires can be seen throughout region on the evenings in June to December, as the sugar cane is burned prior to harvest. This area is famous for its tropical fruits, especially strawberries, pineapples and avocados to name a few.

It is a place to spend money on tropical fruits and gifts while clambering up the Big Pineapple (16 metres high).
